We at Extreme Bubbles are big advocates of getting your kids outside to play.  What better way to be healthy, happy, and actively learning.  Blowing big bubbles is one excellent way to have fun outside, but that’s not all. 

We’ve rounded up five of our favorite resources for outdoor activity ideas.  These sites showcase an incredible amount of creativity and fun that will keep you busy for years to come.  You don’t have to spend a lot of money to be outside and have some good clean fun!

1. Outdoor Activities for Children Ages 6-10

Wow – this is a huge laundry list of ideas! From old fashioned hopscotch to things I imagine it’d be hilarious to do with a toddler (like aerobic dance). From kid friendly gardening ideas, like bug hunting and making a city wide bird bath, to natural learning activities like building a sun dial.

4. New Outdoor Game ideas

This article came up with lots of games I’ve never heard of.  Drag the Body?  a sort of race where you drag your friend across the yard on an old blanket as fast as you can.  Sounds entertaining to me!  How about Blind Snakes, where kids try to run across the yard without getting sprayed by a couple of sprinklers.  One kid is in charge of turning the water on and off and tries to entrap & soak the others!
